An evening of fireworks, music, ikebana, and a world-inspired celebration dinner,
with RIKACO, a celebrated figure with deep roots in Yokohama, as our special guest.
Seven years since opening on October 31, 2019.
InterContinental Yokohama Pier 8 will celebrate its 7th anniversary with a special party on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
This spring marked a new chapter for us, and this will be the first anniversary celebration we welcome as our new selves. A night filled with gratitude for the seven years that have passed, and a toast to the next voyage ahead.
A place you will always want to return to, at every milestone in life
Birthdays, proposals, wedding anniversaries, graduations, new beginnings, new directions.
Life is filled with departures and arrivals, each one its own.
The scent of a different sea breeze with every visit.
The ever-changing colour of the sky.
A quiet moment to check in with yourself.
We hope that every one of these moments becomes the wind in the sails of your next journey.
A hotel that comes to mind at every meaningful milestone in life.
That is the spirit with which we welcome this 7th anniversary evening.
Celebrating with a talent born in Yokohama: RIKACO & Special Music Artist
RIKACO, a celebrated figure with deep roots in Yokohama, will serve as host and take the stage for a special talk show.
Joining our General Manager, Mari Takara, she will share her thoughts and aspirations as a woman who has made her mark across many fields.
The evening will also feature a surprise performance on the terrace of Restaurant & Bar Larboard
by a special music artist, also from Yokohama.

In celebration of the hotel’s 7th anniversary, we are also planning to launch a new stay plan titled “Self LOVE” (working title),
incorporating LOVE GIVES LOVE amenities. Further details will be announced at a later date.

A Live Collaboration: Violin and Ikebana
Watch as flowers are arranged one by one in response to the melody playing before you.
Sound and bloom, two forms of expression becoming one.
An artistic moment that exists only in this evening, never to be repeated.

Born into a family of Sogetsu School ikebana artists, he has received the Minister of Education Award at the Ikebana Grand Prix on multiple occasions. He serves as a director of the Yokohama Kado Association and is based in Minato Mirai, creating floral installations for corporate events and concert venues.

A Toast to the Evening: Welcome Drink & Veuve Clicquot Champagne Cocktail
Welcome Drink: “Infinite Harbour Tea”
A welcome tea crafted to celebrate our 7th anniversary, blending the Eastern and Western cultures that have shaped Yokohama as a port city, and adorned with gold leaf as a gesture of heartfelt hospitality for this special evening.
Veuve Clicquot Apéritif Time
Veuve Clicquot Champagne Cocktail: “Infinite Gold”
In the French tradition of enjoying Champagne and light bites before dinner,
we present “Infinite Gold,” a 7th anniversary exclusive cocktail made with Veuve Clicquot Rich On Ice.
Locally sourced apples are slow-roasted and their fragrance is infused into vodka together with honey,
resulting in a rich autumnal aroma and a smooth, lingering finish.
The accompanying canapés are a bite-sized tribute to the five nations whose culinary cultures arrived in Yokohama when the port opened in 1859.
Anniversary Dinner: A Culinary Voyage Around the World — “Infinite Journey”
From Yokohama, to the world.
Like a ship setting sail once more from its harbour,
this course traces seven years of memories through a journey of global flavours.
Executive Chef Yuho Hozumi brings each dish to life around the themes of departure, voyage, and arrival.
Enjoy with a curated pairing of drinks selected by our sommelier.
A non-alcoholic pairing is also available for guests who prefer it.
