Hotel regulations

In order for all guests to enjoy a safe and comfortable stay, the hotel has established the following rules of use based on Article 10 of the Accommodation Terms and Conditions, and we kindly ask for your cooperation. If these rules are not observed, we may, pursuant to Articles 7 and 18 of the Accommodation Terms and Conditions, regretfully decline your stay or the use of the hotel’s facilities. Please be particularly aware that you may also be held responsible.

Matters to be observed for fire prevention

1. Please do not bring in or use fire for heating, cooking, etc., or irons and the like within the hotel.
2. The hotel is non-smoking except in designated smoking rooms.
3. Please do not touch firefighting equipment except in emergencies.
4. The evacuation route map from the guest room is posted on the back of the guest room entrance door, so please check it.
5. Please do not hang clothing on lampshades or dry laundry on them.

Matters to be observed for security

1. When leaving your room during your stay, please make sure the door is locked.
2. During your stay, and especially when sleeping, please use the door’s inner lock and safety guard. When there is a visitor, please confirm before carelessly opening the door.
   If you suspect a suspicious person, please contact the front desk immediately.
3. Please meet with your visitors in the lobby.
4. Accommodation by anyone other than the registered guest is strictly prohibited.

Handling of valuables and deposited items

1. The hotel assumes no responsibility for the loss of valuables.
2. Lost items will be handled from time to time in accordance with laws and regulations.
3. The handling of deposited items is governed by the provisions on the handling of bailed goods, etc. in Article 15 of the Accommodation Terms and Conditions.

About payment

1. Please note that upon arrival we may request a deposit (advance payment) determined by the hotel. During your stay, when the hotel requests payment, we kindly ask you to pay each time.
2. When using the restaurants & bars, etc. within the hotel by signature, please always present your guest room card key or the accommodation booklet (key booklet) handed to you at the front desk on arrival.
3. Please note that we cannot accept payment by checks other than traveler’s checks, nor currency exchange.
4. We must decline advances for shopping, airline tickets, train and bus tickets, taxi fares, postage stamps, baggage transport, etc.
5. Please note that a facility usage fee will be added when using the telephone in the guest room.
6. In addition to statutory taxes, a service charge of 15% of the bill will be added.
7. We respectfully decline gratuities to staff.

Prohibited acts

1. The following acts cause inconvenience to other guests, so please refrain from them.
   1. Please do not bring into the hotel anything that may cause inconvenience to other guests.
      ① Dogs, cats, small birds and other animals/pets in general. (However, guide dogs, hearing dogs, service dogs, etc. are excepted.)
      ② Items that emit a foul or unusual odor.
      ③ Dangerous items such as gunpowder or volatile oil that easily ignite or catch fire.
      ④ Please do not bring in other items whose possession is prohibited by law. Please do not engage in gambling or acts that disturb public morals within the hotel.
   2. Please do not make loud noises, sing loudly, or engage in boisterous behavior within the hotel that disturbs other guests.
   3. Please do not use the guest room for any purpose other than lodging and dining without the hotel’s permission.
   4. Please refrain from bringing food and drink into the hotel or ordering delivery from outside.
   5. Please do not change the current state of the hotel, such as moving the hotel’s facilities or items to other locations without permission.
   6. Please do not display anything by the windows that detracts from the hotel’s appearance.
   7. Accommodation by anyone other than the registered guest is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, please do not invite outside visitors into your guest room.
   8. Within the hotel, please do not distribute or post advertising materials, or sell or solicit goods, without the hotel’s permission.
   9. Please note that making photographs taken within the hotel public for business purposes without permission may be subject to legal action.
   10. Please do not go out into hallways or other areas outside the room in yukata, nightwear, bathrobes, slippers, etc.
2. Regarding the “Prohibited acts” in the preceding paragraph, if you do not immediately stop the act after being cautioned by the hotel, we will decline the use of facilities within the hotel.

Prohibition of facility use by antisocial forces, etc.

If items (1) through (3) of the preceding paragraph apply, all use will be declined from that point onward.

1. Use of the various facilities within the hotel will be declined for the following organizations and individuals.
   1. Organized crime groups (boryokudan), their members, related organizations and their associates
   2. Associates of corporations or other organizations whose business activities are controlled by an organized crime group or its members
   3. Antisocial organizations, their members and their associates
   4. Cases where assault, injury, intimidation, extortion, coercive unjust demands or similar acts are found
2. If items (1) through (3) of the preceding paragraph apply, all use will be declined from that point onward.
